Laura Leißner

Doktorandin

Laura Leißner studied Communication and Social Science at the Universities of Erfurt and Düsseldorf. Subsequently, she worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the Institute for Journalism of the TU Dortmund. Her research interests are political communication and participation as well as questions around the effects of social media. At the Weizenbaum Institute she is particularly interested in new modes of political engagement and the changing patterns of the Citizenship role in digitized societies.
